Somfy 5 Year Warranty
Somfy offers end product suppliers a 5 year warranty on all motors
and controls. Specifically, Somfy warrants its motors and controls to
be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and
proper use for a period of 5 years commencing with the date stamped
on each product. If the Somfy product fails within this 5 year
period, we will repair or replace it free of charge through your end
BlindShadeMotors.com warrants to the original purchaser that
products are to be free from defects in material and workmanship
under normal use for sixty days. This warranty extends only to the
original purchaser of the product. Freight charges are not
This warranty do not include any conditions, cover any losses or
damages resulting from (1) abuse, accidents, alterations, misuse,
normal wear and tear, motorized devices, exposure to salty air or
corrosive materials, water, acts of God, and war (2) the color change
that occurs with the passage of time, and/or (3) failure to follow
our instructions with respect to measurement, installation, cleaning,
or maintenance. This warranty also does not cover any condition or
damage resulting from removal of the blind and reinstallation in the
same or another window. These warranties do not apply to conditions
caused by normal wear and tear upon the above products.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS,
LIABILITIES, OR WARRANTIES. In no event shall BlindShadeMotors.com be
liable or responsible for INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES or for
any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. Some
states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so this exclusion may not apply to you. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights, which vary from state to state.
You must inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives! Customers
have 15 days from receipt of shipment to contact us regarding any
shipping damage. If the product arrives by truck freight and is
damaged you must note this on the proof of delivery. We will not
accept any claims after the 15 day time limit.
Due to our quick order processing there is no cancellation of a
custom order after material has been cut. There will be no charge
back for cancellation within 12 hours of placing an order.
It is the customer's responsibility to install these shades
correctly. We will not be responsible for errors in the installation
process. Additionally, we are not responsible for any trip charges,
charge backs, or additional install fees.
Thirty day return policy for all parts. Shipping charges are not reimbursed. All returns must be accompanied with a return authorization number which can be obtained by contacting customer service at (616) 394-1430.
This site, and any compilations thereof included on this site,
including but not limited to text, graphics, logos images or software
